ADMISSION PHASE I

Record Screening/Interview

  1. Pay $75.00 application fee , Complete application, Upload:
    • High School diploma or GED, and (1) year of college experience or have graduated from and Post-Secondary Educational School in a Healthcare field
    • Transcript(s)- these do not have to be official but must include college level: with two (2) Science Classes, (1) Math, (1) English, (1) Psychology or Humanities  with a minimum grade of C
    • Upload TEAS >70% scores or proof of consecutive clinical experience (>500 hours) on the medical facility’s letterhead
    • Applicants will receive a payment email confirmation, which will also contain the next steps in the admission process.
  2. Upload all required documents; ensure ALL documents on checklist are attached prior to hitting the submit button. DNS will not view multiple submissions. Applicants will have to submit the application containing all required documents at the time of initial application for program consideration.

ADMISSION PHASE II

  1. Upload: A valid Driver’s License or Government Issued I.D. and a Social Security Card
  2. Upload: The Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or Medical Assistant Certificate.
  3. A satisfactory background check (BCI & FBI)
  4. A satisfactory Ten Panel Immunoassay Drug Test

ADMISSION PHASE III

Supporting documents
Current Immunization Record and Titers: TB (Mantoux – two steps series (2x) or T-Spot or Chest X-Ray); MMR- two steps series (2x); Tetanus; Hep BV – three steps series (3x); Rubella and Varicella Titers.

  • Current Physical Examination
  • COVID Vaccination
  • Active health care provider CPR and First Aid (adult, child, and infant AED)

Mandatory Orientation

During the mandatory orientation and informational session, all attendees must sign a 60-week program commitment. This commitment suggests that students understand and acknowledge that a 60 plus hour workload is normal during the PN educational training. The orientation Quarter averages three hours and will include: reviewing supporting documentation, commitments, financial aid, and payment schedule dates, etc.
